Autoadapt

Woman driving a wheelchair

In 2008 Alelion developed a battery prototype for the company Autoadapt that make wheel chairs for car use. The new battery gave twice as long driving range with half of a conventional battery weight. This gave profits as in better installation processes, less weight of the wheel chair and better handling and power consumption. The unique design also gave a much lower battery that made it possible to lower the total height of the wheels chair. This was an enormous advantage since the floors of the vehicles no longer needed to be lowered.

MXR Racing Enduro head light battery

Neon headlights	mounted on a motorcycle helmet

When racing with a motorcycle in the dead of night in complete darkness the driver must rely on a massive headlight with xeon light technology. The power source is mostly a cord to the motorcycle alternator because the weight of normal batteries is to high. It would simply be dangerous to carry a heavy battery on the driver.

If the driver loses control over the bike and falls off the power cord is broken and there is complete darkness…

Alelion have developed the solution to this in the MXR battery. The size is just slightly bigger than a pack of cigarettes and it last for a complete run. The charging time is so short that by using two batteries the whole race is in the light!

The battery is now tested and ready to be launched in September. During the fall of 2008 the 10 of the best Swedish champions used the battery with excellent results.
